The 99s Museum of Women Pilots (99s MWP) has been awarded a 2019 International Society of Transport Aircraft Trading (ISTAT) Foundation Grant.

We are very grateful to be a recipient of a 2019 ISTAT Foundation grant. It will allow us to produce ten additional Computer Based Training (CBT) modules for the 99s MWP website. It also serves as a means for us to advance aviation through education.

The new CBT modules will provide a blend of history and science in an interactive learning experience. Topics include introductions to women pilots and science subjects. The CBTs cover some of the following subjects:  Louise Thaden, Edith Litchfield Denny, Marion Orr, Katherine Stinson, Bessie Coleman, piloting blimps, weather, radar, lift, atmospheric pressure, and flying tailwheel aircraft.

The CBT modules are being uploaded onto the 99s MWP website and can be accessed from the Education section on the Training Modules webpage, https://www.museumofwomenpilots.org/training-modules.htm.

The International Society of Transport Aircraft Trading (ISTAT) Foundation has an annual grant program. They offer "aviation-related grant funding to nongovernmental, not-for-profit organizations around the globe that advance commercial aviation." The grants are awarded "to educational institutions, museums and other nonprofit organizations that need funding to stimulate commercial aviation interest at various academic levels".
