Women Pilots

Ann Wood flew combat aircraft from factories to airfields in Great Britain. She flew over 90 different aircraft during World War II. After the war, Wood joined Northeast Airlines in 1948. Later on, she joined Pam American World Airways and became the first female staff vice president of Pam Am.
