Women Pilots

Eula 'Pearl' Carter Scott was born in 1915 in the small Oklahoma town of Marlow. Her mother was one of the original enrollee in the Chickasaw Nation. Scott learned to fly at the age of 13 from Wiley Post. She was the youngest pilot in the U.S., she made her first solo flight in 1929. Scott's flight was shortly after the All Women's Air Derby in August.
