Women Pilots

Mrs. Opal Logan Kunz, a New York Society woman, feminist, and wife of Dr. G.H. Kunz, an official at the Tiffany Jewelry Company. She learned to fly, she said, to prove that women have as much place in aviation as men. Although she had only been flying since March, she was said to be an able pilot to fly in the 1929 Air Derby that took place in August.
