Women Pilots

Doris Lockness began to fly aircraft in the 1930's, she joined the WASP program during World War II. When the war ended, she still flew aircraft and in the 1960's she earned her helicopter license. Lockness then earned her commercial gyroplane license in 1998. She is only the second woman to keep a constant speed in a prop gyroplane.
