Women Pilots

In 1981, Lynn Rippelmeyer was hired by People's Express Airlines. She became the first female airline captain in the United States. Rippelmeyer was the first co-captain of an all female crewed Boeing. She served as a captain of a Boeing 727 from 1986 to 1987.
