Major Marie T. Rossi was born in 1957. She grew up in Oradell, New Jersey and graduated from Dickerson College in the year 1980 with her degree in psychology. Rossi gave her life for her country in 1991 at the age of 32. Her unit was the first to fly into enemy territory during the Gulf War. Rossi’s unit was in charge of supplying fuel and ammunition to the ever advancing 101st and 82nd Airborne Divisions. Her Chinook helicopter took damage and crashed near base in northern Saudia Arabia.
