Mrs. Neva Paris, of Great Neck, Long Island, must be a flier of some distinction, for she was chosen to represent the Curtiss Flying Schools, Inc., in this event, and that’s no small honor, for the Curtiss people had a wide range of selection. She is flying a Curtiss Robin in the race. Her plane, powered with a Challenger motor is of the same type as the famous St. Louis Robin in which Jackson and Brne set an endurance record of 422 hours. She flew her plane from New York to Los Angeles to start the race. Her plane is a buff colored cabin monoplane, one of the three monoplanes in the race.
